We the teachers are expected to encourage most of our students to pursue for Masters after graduation. But from the logical perspective judging the present scenario, unless a student is extremely talented, usually we discourage students to continue in academics after graduation. May this issue is debatable but it is purely our viewpoint.
BRSN Centre for Career Development & Placement Cell aims to guide the bulk of the students who are either reluctant or ineligible to continue further academic study in the forms of Masters and or consequent higher research.
The advantage of enrolment in CEL for students is threefold. Firstly, they are being trained here in parallel to their normal course of study in the college. In the process they are saving vital period of time that they will lose if they opt for similar kind of job oriented training in any professional institute after their graduation. The class routine of CEL are adjusted according to the class routines of major courses of study of the students of all departments.
Secondly, the amount of course fee in CEL for training is almost negligible in comparison to the course fees in any other professional job oriented training institute.
Finally, the students are getting ample opportunity of campus interview at the end of their course. The placement record of students in CEL for past few years defines the success of this effort.
In addition to job oriented training it is our view to introduce some training courses for students relating to future self-employment opportunity.
