Curricular Aspect

1. Initiation of B.Ed course
2. Job oriented courses on Disaster & Fire Management, GIS & Remote Sensing and Human Rights Education for wider scope of self employability to be introduced.
3. UGC provisions for Vocational Courses and Community College to be considered.
4. Introduction of M.Phil course in Department of Commerce.
5. Introduction of Honours in Sanskrit from the academic session 2019-20.
6. Introduction of a few certificate courses in Arts, Science & Commerce.

Teaching, Learning and Evaluation

1. Replacing traditional teaching by teaching through smart boards, digital class rooms and modern teaching aid instruments.
2. More emphasis on students’ evaluation through project work, debates, extempore etc.
3. Examination through OMR sheet.
4.  Regular Departmental educational excursion.

Research, Innovations and Extension

1. Minor & Major Research Projects from college and projects from UGC, DST, DBT etc to be encouraged.
2. Linkage with different institutions, company, Govt. organisations to be approached for consultancy.
3. Value oriented courses to be organise in collaboration with the Department of Sanskrit, University of Calcutta, which may act as nodal centre. Assistance to be sought from Gandhi Museum, Barrackpore and Gandhi Study Centre for dissemination of “Gandhian Values’’. Collaboration with DRDO may be undertaken as an outreach initiative.

Infrastructure and Learning Resources

1. To acquire the remaining portion of 6, Riverside road campus. Modernization of library and Office including opening of a cash collection centre at 6, Riverside road campus.
2. Enrichment of central laboratory system.
3. Construction of 2^nd floor of block ‘E’ in 6, Riverside Road Campus.
4. Introduction of model classrooms in both campuses.
5. One ATM counter to be arranged at 85, Middle Road campus.
6. Purchase of land construction for third campus of the college.                                 

Student Support and Progression

1. Improvement of placement service.
2. Introduction of Sports Management course in association with IISWBM.
3. NSE course to be activated for implementation.                                 

Governance and Leadership

1. Modernization of Office and Accounts Section at 85 Middle Road Campus to be made.
2. Initiatives to be taken to create more funds for poor and meritorious students.
3. Biometric card to be introduced in the library.
4. MIS among staff to be formalized.
